fa بررسی ارتباط بین مولتیپل اسکلروز و سردردهای اولیه عمومى General مقدمه: رابطه بین مولتیپل اسکلروز(MS) و سردرد به خوبی شناخته نشده است. مطالعات مختلفی که رابطه بین این دو را بررسی کرده‌اند نتایج متفاوتی در برداشته‌اند. لذا بر آن شدیم تا در این مطالعه به بررسی رابطه سردردهای اولیه و MS در بیماران ایرانی مبتلا به MS بپردازیم. روش کار: در این مطالعه کوهورت تاریخی، 117 مورد از بیماران مبتلا به MS بالینی قطعی، در گروه مورد و351 نفر از افراد سالم در گروه کنترل قرار گرفتند. شیوع سردردهای اولیه در دو گروه براساس پرسش‌نامه‌ای که توسط پزشک معاینه کننده تکمیل می‌شد مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفت. متغیرهای مورد بررسی عبارت بودند از: سن، جنس، نوع MS ، درجه ناتوانیEDSS، مدت بیماری M‏S ، داروی مورد مصرف و خصوصیات سردرد براساس معیارهای انجمن بین ا لمللی سردرد (IHS). برای آنالیز آماری از آزمون های کای دو، تست تی و تست دقیق فیشر، همبستگی و رگرسیون خطی استفاده شد. نتایج: در این مطالعه، 8/53 درصد از افراد مبتلا به MS و 4/27 درصد از افراد گروه کنترل، سردرد مزمن داشتند(0001/0=p). فراوانی سردرد میگرن و سردرد تنشی در بیماران مبتلا به MS به ترتیب 01/73 درصد و 98/26 درصد و در گروه کنترل به ترتیب 6/40 درصد و 7/58 درصد بود. هم‌چنین بین نوع عودکننده - فروکش کنندهMS (RR) و سردرد میگرن ارتباطی معنی دار وجود داشت(0001/0=p). سردرد با مصرف اینترفرون و مدت بیماری و درجه EDSS ارتباطی نداشت(05/0<p ). > Introduction: Relationship between Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and primary headaches is not well recognized yet and the studies that have been done had different results. The aim of this study was to investigate the relation between primary headaches and multiple sclerosis. Materials and Methods: In this historical cohort study, 117 patients with actual MS were selected by convenience sampling as case group and 351 healthy subjects as control group. The incidence of primary headaches was assessed by a physician using a questannaire. Variables under investigation were age, sex, type of MS, Expanded Disability Status Score (EDSS), and characteristics of headache based on International Headache Society (IHS) classification. Data analysis was done using Chi-square, t-test, Fisher exact test, and logistic regression. Results: 53.8% of MS group and 27.4% of control group had chronic headaches (p=0.0001). Frequency of Migraine and tension type headaches among patients with headache in MS group were 73.1% and 26.98%, and in control group were 40.6% and 58.7% respectively. There was a statistically significant relation between Relapsing-Remitting MS and migraine headache (p<0.001).There was not any correlations between headache and using Interferone, MS duration, and EDSS.
